3-Day Intensive

Course Description - 

A wonderful opportunity for the dedicated beginner to dive deeper into this magical medium! This course builds upon the fundamentals of Stained Glass 101, enabling students to truly immerse themselves with a more focused approach and intentional learning pace. Students will leave with a finished piece and the foundational knowledge + confidence to continue developing their skills on their own outside of the course. Students will be able to choose from a variety of detailed patterns and have the option of using hobby came to frame their art. 

Lessons are hosted in my private studio in Denver, CO. Each class has an allotment of 1-3 students assuring 1-1 time in a creatively nurturing space. 

Duration - 3-Day Course | 11hrs

• Friday- 3hr (2pm-5pm): Introduction lecture & demo focused on PPE, safety, tools + basics. Students will execute scoring + breaking, pick patterns and glass.
• Sat- 4hr (10:30am- 2:30pm): Quick Refresh then we will jump into creating! By end of day two we will have our sheet glass cut down, cold-worked and foiled (Foil will be provided to students to take home if absolutely necessary to finish for next day.)
• Sun- 4hr (10:30am- 2:30pm): Complete pieces! We will cover soldering, hardware, patina and proper polish/cleaning techniques. By end of day each student will have a completed piece to hang or sit in their window.

 *Glass is provided but will be selected from my student bins so some colors are not guaranteed - If you are looking for a specific pallet I am happy to provide curated glass packs and or custom patterns for additional cost. 

*Please be aware this is a 3-day course, when scheduling it will only have options for Friday as this will be our start day.
